Pioneer
HTS-570 The $400 Pioneer HTS570 HTIB pictured to the
left is one of the most compact 5.1 speaker surround sound systems in a box ever made. For those limited on
space, this Pioneer HTIB lets users stack the glossy-black, cube-shaped rear speakers and dual center channel speakers together with the front speakers, creating two sets of three cubes (as seen in photo). The control unit
measures just 6" x 2" x 2" -- the amplifiers and connections are located inside and on back of the subwoofer, including 3 digital audio inputs (2 optical, 1 coaxial). Pioneer's MCACC (Multi-Channel Acoustic Calibration
System) is a one-touch fine tuning process that evaluates the
acoustic signature of your listening environment and fine tunes
the sonic performance of all the speakers, adjusting the output
of each speaker for distance, volume, and room equalization.
